Jamie Luxton, founder of the practice, has 20 years experience in the financial services industry. He holds a Diploma of Financial Planning, is a Certified Financial Planner and a member of the Financial Planning Association of Australia. He is also a member of SPAA, the Self Managed Super Fund Professional Association of Australia, and is an accredited Specialist Adviser in this complex field. Jamie alsoholds a Specialist accreditation in the area of Aged Care. Jamie is proud of the fact that many clients who started with Wealthwise more than 25 years ago are still clients to this very day. Jamie has an abundance of knowledge and experience in all facets of financial planning gained over the years, giving advice to many individuals and business owner clients.
Gus Sadri has extensive experience and knowledge in the financial services and banking industry acquired over a period of 30 years. He has been working in the financial planning industry for over 19 years with Principal Consultants and Senior Associates of a couple of prominent Advisory groups in Australia.
Gus is a Certified Financial Planner with a Diploma of Financial Planning and is an Associate of the Financial Planning Association of Australia and an affiliate member of the Australian Institute of Management. Gus was also the recipient of the 2010 Financial Wisdom Value of Advice Award in the Post Retirement category Gus Sadri Wins Financial Wisdom Award

Joseph has been in the Financial Services industry since 1998 in a number of varied roles in tax and financial planning. Joseph is a certified Financial Planner and a Certified Practising Accountant. He graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Commerce (majoring in accounting and finance and minoring in business law) and from Curtin University with a Master of Taxation. Joseph is a fellow member of the Financial Services Institute of Australasia and an Associate Fellow of the Australian Institute of Management. Joseph has a strong customer service focus, which extends to the ongoing service and care given to his clients. His objective is to allow clients to feel relaxed and comfortable, delivering a high level of customer satisfaction.
After many years of managing, training and working with a multitude of experienced Advisers in the Financial Services Profession, Lawrie has decided to return to Financial Planning himself with the Wealthwise team. He holds a Diploma in Life Insurance and a Diploma in Financial Planning through Deakin University and is currently studying towards CFP status. Lawrie has a broad range of knowledge in all areas of the industry, with a particular emphasis on Risk Insurance.

Paul commenced his career in banking and finance with National Australia Bank in 1994.
He believes in educating and empowering people through strategy to enable informed choices in their lives. His passion is to act as a financial coach to his clients, keeping them on track to grow and protect their wealth, removing day-to-day money worries and providing certainty, clarity and peace of mind over their financial future.In particular, Paul is a strong advocate for women having access to financial advice as he sees too often women have inadequate retirement savings.
Paul holds a Graduate Diploma of Business, Advanced Diploma of Accounting and Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning). He is also a SMSF specialist adviser, being accredited by the SMSF Professionals’ Association of Australia (SPAA) which is recognised as the peak body for professional advisers and the leading association within the SMSF industry in Australia. Paul is continually updating his knowledge of investment management which is demonstrated by his studies towards obtaining Certified Financial Planner status and Masters of Business Administration (MBA). Terry has recently merged his own financial planning business with Wealthwise. Over the past 26 years Terry’s career has covered all aspects of financial services, particularly in the areas of Superannuation, Retirement, Disability and Personal Risk Insurances.

Nuala Betts has worked in the Financial Services industry since 2001, completing her Advanced Diploma of Financial Services. Nuala has extensive experience in superannuation, investment, risk planning, Centrelink and pre and post retirement issues, with a particular passion on Aged Care Advice and developing strategies to assist clients in the process of moving into residential aged care in an affordable and sustainable manner. Having spent considerable time in the research and strategic areas of financial planning prior to providing advice directly to clients, Nuala has a strong technical background in financial services.

The early part of Jim’s career was in the construction and manufacturing industry where he spent 15 years in senior management. He then spent 5 years in the business broking, investment and insurance industries before becoming an authorised representative of Financial Wisdom Limited in 1991. Jim has a Bachelor of Business Degree majoring in Marketing, Accounting and Business Law as well as a Diploma of Financial Planning. Jim has extensive experience in all facets of financial planning, including retirement planning and can provide advice on Self Managed Super Funds as well as Aged Care planning. His objective is to deliver financial certainty in the lives of his clients.

Mark came to the financial services industry from a long career in the Electrical Industry (including ADI, HPM & Osram) covering many areas including Lighting, and over 18 years in the Military Aircraft Industry in the UK (BAe covering both electrical and mechanical engineering. He commenced employment with Wealthwise in August 2012. He has since completed the Diploma of Financial Planning and is currently studying towards the Advanced Diploma of Financial Planning. Mark’s role at Wealthwise is to focus on the major facets of Risk Planning
Simon has been in the financial services industry since 1984, starting in customer service including dealing with insurance claims, and became an adviser in 1988. Since then he has built up experience in business & personal insurance, superannuation, pre and post retirement planning and Estate planning. He understands the challenges and strategies needed by clients for all stages of their working and retirement life. Over the years Simon has worked with clients from diverse backgrounds including medical professionals, mining workers and senior management, self-employed, contractors, SME business owners & farm owners. Simon has a Diploma of Financial Planning, is a Chartered Life Practitioner via the AFA and is also a member of the Financial Planning Association.

Nick has been providing financial advice since 2008. Prior to joining Wealthwise, Nick spent 6 years working as a financial adviser for ANZ and Commonwealth Bank where he was recognised with a national award for Customer Service Excellence in 2012. He is able to offer holistic advice encompassing superannuation (including SMSFs), personal insurance, investments, estate planning, retirement planning and social security. Nick holds an Advanced Diploma of Financial Services (Financial Planning) and is on the way to completing a Masters of Financial Planning degree in early 2015. Nick enjoys helping his clients to think about and define their lifestyle goals and then to formulate a plan to make them happen.
