Our Advice Process

Every individual has completely different goals and aspirations. Our advisers will take you through the advice process, from understanding your situation, to implementing a solution.

Our advice process

1. Interview with your adviser
During this stage your adviser will obtain your personal information and identify your needs and objectives.

2. Adviser analysis
The adviser will analyse your personal information and risk profile and will match your needs and objectives with your risk profile and determine appropriate asset allocation. Your adviser will then document a strategy and product recommendations ready for the completion of a Statement of Advice.

3. Statement of Advice
The next step is to present your personal advice to you in a Statement of Advice. This document explains the strategy selected and how this meets your personal needs, objectives and financial situation. This is your opportunity to consider the Statement of Advice and the relevant Product Disclosure Statements.

4. Advice put into action
Once you are comfortable with the advice you confirm your acceptance of the advice, complete the Authority to Proceed and complete application forms.

5. Ongoing advice
An annual review ensures the plan remains appropriate over the long term as your needs and circumstances change. We also have a panel of referral professionals to assist in areas outside of financial planning, including mortgage broking, accounting, general insurance and lifestyle planning.
